KARACHI: The Federal government has increased additional customs duty by 1.0 percent to 16 percent on the import of auto parts.
The SRO 1189(I)/2015 has amended SRO 693(I)/2006 and has increased the additional customs duty on auto parts.
Moreover, additional customs duty has also been increased by 1.0 percent to 26 percent on tractors excluding agricultural tractors; additional customs duty has been increased by 1.0 percent on non-CNG buses to 31 percent; duty has also been increased on auto rickshaws by 1.0 percent to 18.5 percent while additional customs duty has also been increased by 1.0 percent on vehicles of g.v.w.
