KARACHI: The Director General of Customs Valuation has notified reference values of gas meters of China origin.
On the directives of Director General Syed Tanveer Ahmed, Customs Valuation headed by Deputy Collector Rizwan Bashir are developing database values of importable items to eliminate under-invoicing.
The Directorate after carefully examining the clearance data, also conducted inquiries to verify the authenticity of declarations. Online prices were also obtained to corroborate the findings of the market survey.
