KARACHI: Karachi Tax Bar Association on Monday requested the Chairman FBR to extend the date for filing the tax returns, wealth statement and Income Tax statement as according to KTBA huge back log has occurred due to the slowed down IRIS web Portal up-to Oct 31.
In a letter addressed to the Chairman FBR, and released to the press here today, KTBA supporting the efforts by the FBR to broaden the tax base said that its members are trying day and night to cope up with the back log of e-filing but it is humanly impossible and hence they requested for extending the time reassuring the tax collector of sincere efforts to pay due share in the shape of taxes and income tax in the national interest.
