KARACHI: An appellate bench of High Court of Sindh (SHC) comprising Justice Munib Akhtarand Justice Muhammad Humayun Khan on Wednesday ordered issuance of notice to Al-Amin Cera for Jan 12 in a Special Customs Reference Application (SCRA) filed by Director General Customs Valuation.
Masooda Siraj advocate appeared for the applicant and said SCRA challenges the order of the Special Customs Appellate Tribunal, Karachi which ruled in favor of the respondent Al-Amin Cera while hearing a special customs appeal. The appellant challenged the authority of the Director General Valuation of enhancing the value of any items which they maintained militates against the Customs Act 1969.
The bench today after hearing the counsel for applicant put the respondents on notice for January 12.
